French Avenue Zenith Noire is a dark, smoky eau de parfum for men, launched in 2025 and built around a curl of incense over warm amber and clean vetiver. It opens on dry, almost ceremonial smoke, then softens as amber lends a gentle heat and vetiver grounds everything in earthy, woody calm. The result is grown-up and mysterious without ever shouting — a scent that leans in close rather than filling the room.

A Smoky Woody Signature
This is a deliberately spare composition — three notes doing a great deal of work. The incense reads dry and resinous rather than sweet, the amber keeps it warm and skin-close, and the vetiver adds a refined, slightly mineral woodiness underneath. Anyone who likes austere smoky vetivers such as Encre Noire will recognise the family, though this one wears warmer and easier than most.
How It Wears
Zenith Noire settles into a smoky, ambered skin scent that lasts a good six to eight hours, with many wearers reporting longer. Projection is confident in the first hour and then draws close, so two sprays carry an evening comfortably. In Sri Lanka's climate it comes into its own after sundown and in air-conditioned rooms, where the smoke and amber feel warm rather than heavy — ideal for the office in cooler spells, dinners and nights out.
